Long time no blog

So I managed to finish the Lelah top this weekend. Like I said before, I don't do well with strapless so I decided to stick some straps on it. Well I knit some on the top and realized they looked like crap. Even Arbusto agreed that they didn't look quite right. At first I thought I could live with it, but the more I looked at it the less I liked it. I was looking on the internet for solutions last night and found a picture of the lotus blossom tank from the cover of interweave knits. It's actually very similar to the Lelah top, so I decided to try to modify what I have based on the Lotus pattern. So, rip rip rip..... and now I've got a big pile of yarn. Oh well, hopefully the 2nd try will better :) So we decided to be super-tourists this weekend and go take some pictures at Buckingham fountain since it was such a nice day:

yeah, they're building another stupid condo right in front of ours, so the view is gonna be very gone. I swear they are trying to pack as many buildings in as they can around here!!!! oh well :)
