I think I'm in love

Anyone remember the episode of Pee Wee's Playhouse where he loved fruit salad so much that he put a little veil on it and married it? That's what I'm about to do with my Clapotis. Although the pattern is great I think it's the needles and yarn I'm using that is fueling my obsession. The combo of the lion and lamb yarn and the addi turbos makes the knitting smooth as butter :) I LOVE it. Here's a pic of the progress so far.....

And here's a closer one...

The colors are a little darker in real life, but you can get the general idea from these :)

Arbusto was in town this weekend which gave me a chance to do some semi-touristy stuff....we went to the King Tut exhibit at the Field Museum, ate out a lot, and went to a Cub's game (he finally got to go to one in Chicago). There was also much TV/movie watching, including Howl's Moving Castle which I highly recommend. Hehe I persuaded him to leave it behind so I could watch it again tonight :)

I did not realize butter was smooth. I definately have not heard that simile.

I totally remember that Pee Wee's episode. "I love fruit salad." "So why don't you marry it." "I think I will." "Here comes the bride, all fat and wide."
